I'm not gonna lie, when I saw this spread.. I was like "OH S**T". Bleach has always been an up and down ride for me but I've always loved it deep, deep, deep down in my heart. Looks like we'll be going back to Soul Society and I can't wait to see how different everyone else looks as well. Need to design something the celebrate the anniversary, has it really been 10 years? XD

WIP X-Men Rogue
Been watching X-Men: Animated Series for the past few weeks and I love it. Most of the time when I go back and re-watch something in the past it's pretty bad the second time around. (i.e. Power Rangers) This hasn't happened while watching X-Men again, I guess mainly even though it has it's share of corny moments the themes and issues they tackle are still related to current events. My favorite character is Rogue haha. She's so hot and something about that Southern accent.. anyways, her power is bad ass and I love her so I did a fanart.

Ayur Poster
Pointillism with masking tape? Not exactly the smartest thing I've ever done but it sure as hell paid off! Doing completely line-art would've been the fastest way to accomplish this project but me and Karan went to go Seurat on my living room wall. I used a scene from Hanasaku Iroha as reference and decent amount of tape. My prof. is talking about cutting it out of my wall.......... I'm not so sure how my landlord is going to that proposal but we'll see.

Typography Project: Inversion
TapeArt - Fejzo & Luka Ursic from Multipraktik on Vimeo.
I saw some videos by these guys awhile ago and I've always wanted to do something like this, but never had a chance or reason to... until now. For my final project of this series I want to do a tape art mural on a wall. Sadly it's going to rain all weekend. T-T

Blazo Poster
To keep up with my theme of Hiphop Jazz producers I went with Blazo for this assignment. The color scheme is inspired from his Colors of Jazz album, which I highly recommend. The goal was to use fragmentation in the type and image relationship so I kept it simple and just cut off the top of his name with one of the color bars.
